Is it wrong that I want to throw up because $1,000/mo gets taken out of my paycheck for taxes? God, I hope I get some of it back in April...

billy said...: no. i recently had the same feeling after doing the math and realizing i'm losing damn close to 1/2 my pay. while we may see some good old american dollars come next spring, the amount getting ganked from our (officially middle-class, if my math is ~ok) paychecks does NOT get put to cool things like nationalized health care or other social services that would make life better. i'm not really sure where that money goes...; 3:41 PM
